Model and social media influencer Nicola Cross and her fiancé Pat recently got back from what looked like an amazing summer in Europe. Nicola documented her adventure on her Instagram (@dicolaaa) as they explored some breath-taking places including Santorini, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, Nice and Paris just to name a few! Travelshoot was lucky enough to catch up with them in Paris to capture some truly amazing photos. We can’t express how much we love these photos and how much we love Nicola and Pat (couple goals am I right?).
Now home in Australia we caught up with Nicola to chat about her European adventure and got her thoughts on what she thought about her Travelshoot experience. Check out her interview below!
Favourite thing about Paris?
My favourite thing about Paris was the BREAD, a close second being the macaroons and third would be the stunning architecture. Ideally, look at the buildings while eating macaroons and bread.
How do you nail your travel style – what goes into planning a trip?
Together we will make a list of ‘must do’s’ or pieces from our bucket list. Pat, a lover of excel spreadsheets will write the destinations downs and organize the rest of the trip to fit in with our must dos.
Favourite city and why?
My favourite city was Positano, we stayed in Villa Franca which had a view hard to beat, a breakfast to drool over and menu of pillows. While we were there we took cooking lessons where we learnt to make pizza, gnocchi and eggplant parmigiana. We also found a lovely old man who took us to the island of Capri on his boat and had us swimming in no time. Pat’s favourite city was Nice, the music, food and scenery was a vibe like no other.
Must have travel accessory?
For me, it’s hats. In 5 weeks travel I purchase one top, one skirt and 8 hats. I have a need to feed my 'hatisfaction.'
How did you find your Travelshoot experience?
We loved our Travelshoot, we had many laughs with our photographer and it was a unique way to see more of Paris.
