Before becoming a mum myself, I could see the appeal but I have to admit - I struggled in media interviews answering exactly 'why' holiday photos were so important for mothers.
A recent journalist described the current trend of 'booking a photoshoot on holidays' as an ego-centric purchase and I just had to laugh.
Lets set the record straight - the growing trend of spending time with a professional and local photographer is not about claiming fame to the best profile pic.
