Exploring the globe is a common driver for many people who make a career in the travel game, but for Jackie, documenting once in a lifetime memories was high on the agenda too...
She's not only a favourite customer, but an experienced agent who trusted us with capturing memories in not just 1, but 4 destinations - Fiji, Venice, Barcelona and Paris...
What's your favourite thing about working in the travel industry?
The Travel industry is fun, we work with great people and create amazing travel experiences for clients. It's never a dull moment!
What's the number one travel tip you would give someone?
Spend some time, looking at things you might want to do or highlights of the area, even if you don't do them all it's better than missing out on things you didn't know you wanted to do.
What’s the strangest travel question you have ever been asked from a client?
I once had a customer who wanted to fly to Europe on a specific plane type with specific seats. They also didn't want to fly more than a specific length of time & wanted limited stops!
Favourite place and why?
I'd have to say Vanuatu, it's a beautiful tropical South Pacific paradise!
You have now done four Travelshoots in the last year! Out of the four locations, which is your favourite, and what's the best thing to do there?
Paris for sure, there is no city like Paris ~ its beautiful and romantic. You can't go wrong. As for the best thing to do there, it would have to be riding around the city on a bike!
Why did you decide to do multiple Travelshoots whilst in Europe?
I wanted to do something in each country we visited on our European getaway as a way to remember and have a snapshot of our amazing time away.
Talk us through your Travelshoot experience and how it all went down!
It's funny you ask! When I booked our first one in Fiji, I was excited then when it came time to do it I was so nervous! Then when the Travelshoot started I was still feeling awkward but quickly our photographer made us feel at ease and we ended up having a lot of fun out of it! Then we got amazing photos of our unforgettable time away!
Why do you think capturing memories is so important?
It's just a great way to remember your time away, looking back at those photos it's easy to remember how much fun it was or how happy you were on your trip and you get to keep these photos forever. Memories fade, photos don't.
