Anthony & Kathrin recently got married on Stradbroke Island in Queensland, Australia. Their beautiful wedding was filled with tears, laughter and a whole lot of love. Travelshoot was lucky enough to be there to capture the event and all of the special moments it included. We were able to catch up with Anthony after the wedding to see what he thought of his photos and Travelshoot wedding photography. Why did you feel it was so important to capture the big day?
It was important for us to capture our special day because it is an event only ever happens once. In addition, we live busy lives, and are usually too busy to have photo portraits done up. However now we have some amazing photos to put up around the house and show family and future kids.
What are you planning to do with your photos?
We have created an album with some great snapshots of our special day. There are some photos in there that are amazing and unique! In addition, we would like to get some of these blown up and placed around the house. And of course, the odd present to family members for Christmas.
How did you find your Travelshoot photographer?
The photographer herself was a perfect mix of chill/professional. She organised a meeting prior to our special day and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. We would recommend her for any event, especially weddings! The photographer really cared about capturing our special day instead of being there to get paid.
Best tip for wedding photos now that you’ve had your big day?
- Meet the photographer prior to the special day
- Be honest and up front.
- Outline what you would like – possible location etc.
