Travelling solo can often mean that travellers don't get any great images of themselves whist on holiday. Lifestyle and travel blogger Freya de Fleur recently went travelling solo to Thailand and thought that a Travelshoot would be the perfect way to capture some amazing holiday memories. And of course it was! We chat to her about her favourite city in the world, London, and where her travel plans are taking her next.
What’s your dream travel destination?
I would love to go to New York! My sister and I have always dreamed of going together so it’s top of my destination wish list at the moment.
Name your must-have travel accessory.
My Olympus PEN camera is my must-have travel accessory. I love taking photos on the go and it’s small enough I can fit it in my backpack.
What’s your favourite city in the world and why?
London. There’s just so much to discover in this city! Around every corner there are hidden gems and new places to explore. I don’t think I could ever move – my heart belongs to London.
What’s your favourite leisure activity whilst your travelling? It could be something mellow like lying on the beach, or something more active like rock climbing.
I love yoga so when I’m on holiday I really enjoy practicing my yoga on a stand up paddleboard – it’s great for working on balance and relaxing.
What’s your favourite travel app?
I find Banca really useful for helping me work out exchange rates in different countries.
What did you enjoy most about your Travelshoot?
Feeling the sand between my toes as I walked on Surin Beach was a perfect start to the day. Having memories of that morning that I can keep forever is so special!
Why do you think travellers will love Travelshoot?
I love travelling solo but find it really difficult to get photos of myself on my trips. I found Travelshoot really useful and the photographs will help me remember my trip forever. I’m sure other travellers who have the same problem as me will love the concept of Travelshoot.
