It's sometimes the memories close to home that are treasured the most - showcasing a special moment in time, with the ones you love that mean the most. We caught up with client Gareth after his own Melbourne Travelshoot experience and wanted to know more about why having a Travelshoot close to home was important for his family, and why memories matter to him..
Tell us about your family!?
We are a family of 3 our son Charlie turns 4 soon. We love spending time as a family going outdoors and exploring. Also spending time with our friends and extended family. Activities pretty much involve anything that will wear out a toddler haha
What do you love about your shoot location? Why did you pick to have a photoshoot here?
We chose to get a shoot done in Melbourne because it is our home city. We love exploring Melbourne and finding new restaurants or things to do. Also we never get photo’s when we are all in the picture.
Why did you decide to arrange a family photoshoot?
Kids grow up so fast we thought it is important to make sure you create and capture some great memories together. We have these photos printed in our hallway and they look amazing.
What would be your advice to a family thinking about booking a shoot?
Definitely take the step and book it in you wont regret it. Have a think if there is somewhere that you want photos in front of. The photographers are great in making suggestions but also love it if you have somewhere you’d like to get some pics done.
Talk us through your Travelshoot experience and how it all went down!?
The photographers were brilliant very relaxed and fantastic with a toddler which is probably one of the hardest to capture. They were very professional and patient with us which was perfect.
What’s your favourite shot from your Travelshoot? Why do you love it?
I love the pic of the 3 of us in the graffiti lane. It just feels like a really Melbourne photo if that makes sense.
