Is swimming with sharks your cup of tea?

We love it when travel bloggers want to try out the Travelshoot concept. And we love it even more when they are super happy with their images and are up for answering a few questions all keen travellers want to know.

Below we speak with Tennille from WanderlustMuse about her Perth Travelshoot and all things travel. Turns out she's more of an adventure seeker than we first thought.

What’s your dream travel destination?

While I love more tropical - underwater, mermaid - adventure type destinations..something sitting high on the travel bucket list is Giraffe Manor in Kenya. Sharing breakfast with a Giraffe is what travel dreams are made of!! Second on the list; Bolivia - more specifically the southwest corner of Bolivia, where it borders Chile in the Atacama desert, a rugged transport route along the Bolivian altiplano. There is an unusual desert landscape which is a breeding ground for several species of flamingoes. All of my travel adventures have @wanderlustmuse content in mind - my creative brain goes into overdrive imagining the photo magic I can create in the above destinations!!

Name your must-have travel accessory.

My GoPro - I do not travel anywhere without it! Time lapse, videos, stills, underwater footage - it's small, light, versatile and waterproof!

What’s your favourite city in the world?

Havana! I/@wanderlustmuse was lucky enough to tick Cuba off the travel bucket list this year! Havana is like stepping back in time to 1950's America with some colonial Spanish buildings thrown into the mix! Havana really was a life changing experience for me!

What’s your favourite leisure activity whilst your travelling? It could be something mellow like lying on the beach, or something more active like rock climbing.

Anything water based with a slice of fear factor! Swimming with sharks, whale sharks, cage diving, cave jumping...you get the picture!

What’s your favourite travel app?

A)  iTranslate - to get the most out of your travel experiences you really must emerge yourself in the culture and talk the language!

B) TripAdvisor -  Researching hotels is a subject I take very seriously. The professional photos a hotel has on its own website aren't necessarily reflective of reality, hence the TripAdvisor app is a MUST, it's also useful to check cafe's, restaurants and things to do in the area.

C) Tripit - I travel a lot, generally 250+ days a year I am on the road! Hence I need my little Personal Assistant in an App!!! Tripit will automatically strip out the fine print and collate only the most essential travel information from confirmation emails into a tight and chronological itinerary.

D) Go Pro APP - The Go Pro App allows you to control your camera remotely! You can adjust any setting on the GoPro from your iPhone. You no longer need to download the stills/video footage to your lap top, this can all be downloaded onto your iPhone - ready to upload to Instagram!

E) Instagram - this is where I find my travel inspiration. From amazing photo locations, to cafes and amazing hotels/resorts!

What did you enjoy most about your Travelshoot?

Just being in the moment - exploring a new destination with my Husband!

Which is your favourite Travelshoot image?

Why do you think travellers will love Travelshoot?

As soon as I read about Travelshoot I instantly fell in love! It really is a fantastic concept! My Husband and I usually rely on the self timer and tripod - however, most times it's not possible to set yourself up within the 10 second timeframe ! Travelshoot allows you to travel the world and capture special memories on film!  If you are like me and you lust over amazing travel snaps on Instagram - Travel Shoot makes it possible to have lust worthy images of your own!
