The loved-up duo Georgia Love and Lee Elliot, who found love on The Bachelorette, recently globe-trotted to Italy to enjoy a romantic holiday together. The pair shared their favourite moments from their picture-perfect Travelshoot in Florence.
Lee, introduce/describe Georgia in one sentence
Lee: Georgia is my co-pilot in life, love and travel.
Georgia: How do I follow that?! Lee is the most loving, headstrong, driven and funny person you’ll ever meet.
What took you both to Florence?
Lee: Besides a plane and train? Haha. We were actually in Italy to attend our dear friends’ wedding on the Amalfi coast.
Georgia: I had never been to Italy before, and Florence is one of Lee’s favourite places in the world so he wanted to take me there.
What were your favourite things about Florence?
Lee: My favourite things about Florence are the same reasons I love Italy so much. The people, the food, the culture and the history. Oh, and it’s hard not to go past a glorious Florentine steak, paired with a glass of Chianti classico. Bellissimo!
Georgia: The shopping!! Haha. But of course more than that was the beauty of the place, and how romantic it is. It’s especially amazing when you come from a young country like Australia, and being completely enthralled by all the old buildings and not even being able to comprehend their age!
Talk us through your Travelshoot! What was your favourite part?
Lee: It was such a fun experience in itself, but truth be told my favourite part was seeing our photos for the first time. I knew they would be incredible, but I didn’t have any idea they would be THAT incredible! It’s so amazing and special to have had our trip together captured like that!
Georgia: Definitely seeing the photos! They were even more beautiful than we expected, and it’s so wonderful to have our memories captured in that way.
Where is your dream destination?
Lee: The Maldives. I have an inkling that girlfriend of mine might just share my sentiment of a dream destination.
Georgia: Lee’s totally right! It is easily the most beautiful place in the world – in pictures – and I just want to see it for myself!
Any plans for Valentine’s Day?
Lee: Well for the very first time ever I’m having my Valentine’s Day planned for me which I cannot wait for so I’ll have to pass you over to the boss on this one.
Georgia: I can’t tell you otherwise Lee will find out! But I definitely have an exciting night planned for us.
